Dr. Christine Cook is a photographer, Florida Master Naturalist, and educator. She earned a doctorate in Education from Kent State University where she studied how the brain learns, as part of her research in Autism. In the field of education for 35 years, Dr. Cook was an adjunct professor while serving as teacher and administrator in programs for children with special needs. She continues to utilize her education background by teaching photography composition and Photoshop and presenting around the state on various topics in photography.
Christine is the founder and director of the DPI-SIG Women’s Workshop and the Florida Camera Club’s Council Director of Digital Competition. She is also an accomplished photographer and has received numerous awards in competitions and art shows at the local, state and international levels.
