Miniverse- A Macro Photographic Journey by David Lamb
Solo Exhibition by David Lamb
I have always been attracted to the small, in-between spaces that exist in our world. I am especially interested in those that exist in nature; on top of a fallen tree, behind a leaf, under a flower petal, or just in between blades of grass. Sometimes I get to see the inhabitants of these spaces interact with their environments. Sometimes, it is just the environment itself. You have to stop and purposefully look in order to experience these tiny worlds, slow down to the speed they run at. They are part of the fabric of the larger world in which we exist, so these in-between spaces are everywhere. For me, it is almost like a therapy session, as I tend to forget everything happening around me, and lose myself to just being an observer. I hope these photos give you a time-out from the day to day as well. Or you can look down and around once in a while and explore the Miniverse for yourself, no camera required.
